Caravans, a crutch and a spot of Vadering
Just had to share these pics from Laura and Mat’s e-shoot this week at the Camp and Furnace in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. Imagine a lovely picnic by some really cool retro caravans against a industrial backdrop. What more could I ask for? It was all a bit tongue in cheek though, and what made it funnier was that Mat wanted to feature his crutch after breaking his ankle recently, but he reassures me that it’ll be ok for their wedding (fingers crossed!)
These guys were great fun to work with and there was much general piss taking and play. Mat is Creative Director at Little Ego – Creative Software and Design so no stranger to letting his imagination run wild. We finished off with a spot of Vadering – shooting someone to look like they suspended in the air by ‘The Force’. So Matthew practiced his Darth Vader on rebel Laura *does impersonation of Vader asthmatic breathing*
Thanks to the Camp and Furnace for letting us use their amazing space. If you’ve never been, check it out – fab food and drink and some ace events. When we were there, it happened to be retro gaming night complete with cinema screen sized Super Mario Cart and Mousetrap! It’s also available to hire for weddings – it’d make the most awesome backdrop. Would so love to shoot one here. Any couples out there?
