One of the great things about being a wedding photographer is the new friendships we make with so many interesting and amazing people. Often we’ll get to catch up again at family shoots, baby sessions or occasionally for another wedding. When we shot Christabel and Kevin’s wedding 8 years ago, Alex, was a bridesmaid. Now she was about to tie the knot herself at her theatrical themed city wedding at St George’s Hall in Liverpool.
Alex and Mabon’s reception was at one of Liverpool’s little quirky venues – The Racquet Club. Alex is a lover of literature and theatre and so their inspiration was born. Besides wanting to keep the photography unobtrusive, we tried to bring some theatricality to the images without going overboard. Hope you enjoy some of our favourites.
