We’ve worked extensively at this exquisite 19th century Castle in Peckforton, Cheshire. However, we still can’t help getting stoked every time we shoot there. Especially when it came to Janine and John’s fairy-tale wedding with a Maggie Sottero dress at Peckforton Castle. It was the first and the last wedding venue they viewed. They were so blown away by the beauty that they fell in love with the place.
Whats more, when we first met them at the annual Peckforton Castle wedding fayre and we got on instantly. Not only are they beautiful souls, but we also share the same sense of humour. They inform me that they first met at their local gym and were later set up on a date by Janine’s friend, and the rest is history.
Fairy-tale Wedding with Maggie Sottero Dress
First and foremost, Janine looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero dress with its delicate embellishments. She also wore a matching tiara and must-have Jimmy Choo shoes. Moreover, this was in keeping with her desire to bring a touch of the fairy-tale princess to her look.
Magical Wedding in The Great Hall
The Great Hall at Peckforton Castle provided the perfect setting for their fairy-tale wedding with a Maggie Sottero dress. Trigger alert! One of the most touching moments was John fighting his tears of joy as their two children and the bride walked down the aisle.
The Wedding Reception with Falconry Display
In addition, Janine and John had the brilliant idea of booking a outdoor Falconry show during the reception drinks. Everyone was amazed at seeing these huge birds of prey such as Golden Eagles and Owls. Guests even had the opportunity to hold these amazing animals.
The Speeches with Surprise Singing Waiter
Want to play a fun practical joke on your guests? Singing waiters are the thing. Let me explain what happens.
For example, professional singers are disguised as waiters and appear serving food to your guests throughout the wedding breakfast. There will then be an ‘incident’ such as an argument between two of these fake waiters. Usually a flash-mob sing-a-long ensues.
In this case, Janine and John had a lone waiter who fainted (very convincingly). The guest reactions were priceless. First, there were gasps of shock as people rushed to his aid. Then confusion, followed by laughter when the waiter breaks into song moments later. See it in action here.
The Evening – A Fairy-tale Ending
A DJ and sax player combo is a sure way of getting those guests to cut some shapes on the dance floor. You get the feel of a live performance with your favourite DJ set for an electric atmosphere.
Finally, this magical wedding ended on a high with Janine looking beautiful in her Maggie Sottero dress on the packed dance floor.
